  25. RCCD is known to be compatible with Windows NT4.0 and Windows 95/98.
  26.  
  27. RCCD was developed because I was tired of having to give the CD player
  28. focus to issue commands. This CD player relieves you of having to do that 
  29. by allowing you to assign hot keys to the available functions.
  30.  
  31. The CD player can be controlled in one of two ways:
  32.  
  33. When you right click on the CD player, the standard menu has commands for
  34. controlling the CD's play. Additionally the standard hot keys are as follows:
  35.  
  36. Ctrl+Shift+P: Play/pause
  37. Ctrl+Shift+F: Forward a track
  38. Ctrl+Shift+B: Back a track
  39. Ctrl+Shift+E: Eject
  40. Ctrl+Shift+S: Stop
  41. Ctrl+Shift+R: put the CD player in the tray.
  42. Ctrl+Shift+O: Skip Forward
  43. Ctrl+Shift+A: Skip Back
  44. Ctrl+Shift+C: Close the CD tray (only on players that support this function)
  45. Ctrl+Shift+K: Toggles the above hot keys as enabled or disabled. Use this to
  46.               use the same key strokes for another application without having 
  47.               to unload the CD player itself, or have conflicting commands
  48.               being issued.
  49. Ctrl+Shift+R: CDDB reload (registered users only

  51. To select a track, right click the visible cd player (or single click the
  52. tray icon) and select the track menu. The list of tracks is available from
  53. this menu.

  55. Double clicking the tray icon will re-display the CD player.
  56.  
  57. The volume aspect of the CD player still needs some work and is not enabled.

  59. Right clicking the CD player (either in the tray or on screen) will
  60. display a menu that has all available functions on it including settings.

  62. Select properties and make your hot key selections in addition to other 
  63. settings.
